The location was perfect for visiting Beaumaris Castle, which was just across the street. My room had a lovely view of the castle, and it was incredibly clean and cosy. The continental breakfast was a highlight too. it featured good coffee and some nice pastries. I did experience a bit of noise from outside at night, but the positives definitely outweighed this minor inconvenience.

Lovely view of Beaumaris Castle from the room.
Upon entering the room, a strong musty smell hit us. The bathroom showed definite signs of neglect, with mould creeping in the shower. there was no reception, and we had to figure out how to check in while the bar was bustling with patrons. This made our first impression quite frustrating and added to our overall dissatisfaction.

The location was absolutely ideal, right across from the stunning castle and very close to the green car park. The small double room, although compact, was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable,...

Parking is across the park, and it’s dimly lit, which isn't ideal. Limited amenities in the room were noticeable, with only one bottle of water provided and no hairdryer unless requested. The noise from the pub kept us awake well past 11 PM, adding to the discomfort of staying with a sick child, and retrieving lost items afterward proved to be a hassle. On top of that, the bathroom looked a bit worn with old tiles and a slight musty smell.

The room was lovely and cosy, with a great castle view! The heating was on full blast when we arrived, making it feel warm and inviting. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of sockets for charging everything. A nice touch was the biscuits left in the room. it was a bit small, not somewhere I’d want to stay too long, but definitely cozy for a short visit.
